Realty was founded in 1993 by Richard Kosmalski. He had
previously worked for both large and small real estate
companies. He saw a void in the industry and wanted to
start a different, family-owned real estate company. The
Kosmalski family voted on the company name and Carriage
Realty was officially created. Karen Stang (Kosmalski)
joined as a Realtor in 1994. Richard and Karen worked
as a "team" before the approach became popular.
Richard Kosmalski retired in 2001, but his philosophy
of selling real estate has remained with Carriage Realty. His motto: Traditional
Country Service is based upon:
